Not all of them are using mega-dollars, and here we bring you an amateur video of Canadian astro- and geo-physics and oceanographic design engineer Jim Harrington.
Jim, in his spare time, has invented an outboard engine which will run from your solar panels.
The quality of the imaging is not good, but be patient, as all the information that you would need to copy this idea is contained in the video. The system costs around $1500 including the solar panels.
