Top New Zealand sailors Mike Bullot and Dave Healy plan to save Aucklanders $1m on activities and services around the region when they launch their exciting new website on 9th February called www.dailydo.co.nz.
The site will feature one great deal per day for anything from restaurants, health and fitness services, outdoor activities, winery tours, beauty services etc, discounted by 50-90%.
With a growing list of subscribers already, Bullot and Healy are excited about the potential of their new entrepreneurial venture, 'It's great to think that we're helping to get Aucklanders out enjoying their city and stimulating business for local merchants', explains Bullot, 'the business' being featured get exposure to a large audience who might never have considered doing business with them, it's a whole new level of advertising without the exorbanant cost'.
Both Bullot and Healy have had great success in their respective sailing classes in the 2009. Bullot, in the Laser class, placed second in two World Cup events before finishing second at the World Champs.
Healy's 18ft Skiff team won the ANZAC regatta and NZ Nationals, and will be in Sydney competing at the JJ Giltinan Championship when dailydo launches. Bullot originally came up with the concept in 2009, but with his sailing successs came increased commitments.
This is when he decided to bring onboard Healy and also Luke Hamilton, a successful sportsman in his own right, who plays rugby for Northland in the Air New Zealand Cup and was part of the 2009 NZ Sevens team.
It seems these three have the mindset to succeed and with a concept that offers a win-win situation for both consumers and merchants, you're likely to hear a lot more about dailydo.
