Ian Neely appointed to Yachting NZ Youth role

Yachting New Zealand has announced that coach and coach facilitator Ian Neely has now been appointed to the role of Youth Head Coach & Manager, taking over from Marty Watson.

With a hand in the success of Yachting New Zealand’s top Laser sailors including Jo Aleh and Andrew Murdoch, Ian is one of New Zealand’s most reputable and experienced high performance coaches, and has worked with Yachting New Zealand for a number of years. Ian’s focus will be on coaching and building careers for our developing youth sailors. We are delighted to have Ian working with us, coaching and building careers for our developing youth sailors ” says Olympic Program Manager, Jez Fanstone.
