Manly 16ft Skiff Sailing Club seeks Sailing Manager

by Brad Andrew on 24 Oct 2009 Manly 16ft Skiff Sailing Club Ltd is one of Sydney’s leading dinghy club’s and is a progressive and strongly community minded organisation located in the beachside suburb of Manly. The Club has a sailing fleet of around 28 16ft skiffs, 23 Manly Juniors, 25 Flying 11’s and 13 13ft skiffs racing each week.

The Club is seeking a dynamic self motivated Sailing Manager to manage the day to day sailing operations of the Club. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate management and marketing skills suitable to an organisation that prides itself on providing exceptional services and amenities to its sailing community. Specifically, the Sailing Manager will have relevant experience, enthusiasm, and a proven track record of planning the smooth
running of events, including the organising of volunteers, hosting of sponsors and the ability to deal with a wide range of operational issues. It is also important that the successful applicant demonstrate outstanding business and
people management skills.

Previous experience in the sailing industry would be an advantage.
