DeckHardware in conjunction with SpliceRight will be displaying their new Australian product a Splicing Kit at the 2009 Sydney International Boatshow.
The SpliceRight kit is based on tweezer type tools that can enter the core of the rope to be spliced, allowing for fast and easy terminations. The kit is aimed at those who do their own handy work with the modern styles of rope.
SpliceRight Kit includes:
* Lined nylon zipup bag
* A refillable gas powered Hot Knife, able to cut rope and seal the end at the same time – Butane refills are readily available through hardware stores
* Two sizes of tools (forceps) suitable for ropes from 3mm to 20mm
* Sailmakers Palm
* Spool of whipping twine
* Assorted needles (3)
* A utility knife
* Roll of PVC tape
The SpliceRight Kit will be available through Retail outlets with a RRP of $ 98.00 During the Sydney International Boatshow, visit DeckHardware on stand 163-164 around the corner from the Sailing Stage and Better Boating Workshops, for a special introductory offer of $ 89.00.
