Haines Hunter launches new ‘Profish Series’

by Sandman PR on 14 Jul 2009
Haines Hunter’s seven-model Profish Series begins with the compact and functional 475 Profish and rounds out with the massive offshore sportfisher, the 675 Profish – which is due to be released later this year. Shane Mensforth

Haines Hunter officially unveiled its new Profish Series at the 2009 Melbourne Boat Show last week.

Designed specifically for anglers, this impressive series of fibreglass fishing boats comprises seven models ranging 4.7m to 6.7m. On display at the show, the 475, 495, 525, 535, 575 and 625 attracted plenty of interest, while the 675 Profish is set to make its debut later in the year.

Haines Hunter director John Haber said while the Profish Series offered all the benefits synonymous with the Haines Hunter brand, these new models were very competitively priced.

'The Profish Series has been developed to cater for serious anglers, incorporating completely new configurations and plenty of functional fishing features, without bursting the budget,' Mr Haber said.

'The deep-V hull design of each Profish model combines the perfect balance of performance and stability, which is the result of extensive research and development based on an intimate understanding of Australian water conditions.

'In that light, the smaller models are ideal for bay and inshore fishing around the county, while the larger 575, 625 and 675 Profish are very capable offshore boats for trips out wide to target tuna and billfish.'

Available in a range of exciting new gelcoat colours, along with an extensive options list, every model in the Profish Series can also be fully customised to meet individual requirements.

Drawing on 50 years of boat manufacturing experience, Haines Hunter’s build quality and attention to detail is second to none. Only premium quality materials and fittings are used throughout, with all hulls backed by a seven-year structural warranty.
