BoatsOnSale.com.au presented to NSW Marine Brokers Association

by Marine Qld on 24 Jun 2009 BoatsOnSale.com.au, the new marine industry sales website, was presented to NSW Marine Broker Association in Sydney last Friday.

The new look BoatsOnSale was presented to the NSW BIA Marine Brokers at their Accredited Training session conducted by the BIA NSW at the Middle Harbour Yacht Club in Mosman last week.

The session reviewed the benefits; development and operation of the new look site, as well as the strategic position created by BoatsOnSale through their alliance with the established websites Boatsonline and YachtHub.

BoatsOnSale was initiated as an enhancement to the accreditation process by the SE Qld Marine Brokers and Marine Queensland over 12 months ago.

NSW Accredited Marine Brokers have always been invited to participate in the project however it was not until the new look BoatsOnSale website was previewed at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show that interest in the site gained momentum.

The presentation to the Marine Brokers of NSW is the first stage in a national rollout to all BIA members across Australia involved in the manufacture, import and sale of boats and marine accessories.

Don Jones, General Manager Marine Queensland, said: 'We are very pleased with the results achieved over the last four weeks. Site performance indicators at this early stage are fantastic.'

Since the new look site went live four weeks ago, there has been a 140% increase in unique site visits with 25% of unique visitors coming via direct traffic.
