Olympians compete in the yngling division at Musto/Sturrocks

Yachting Women and girls from around Sydney competed in 10 divisions in the Premier women’s sailing event, the 2009 Womens Challenge organised by Manly Yacht Club.
This event is in its 14th year and has steadily grown to reflect the growing passion women have for the sport of sailing. It is the most popular event on the women's sailing calendar.
A record 54 yachts and Skiffs entered. One design fleets such as sailability 13 ft skiffs and Ynglings and Mixed fleets of yachts such as Farr 40’s and Sydney 38’s competed for the fabulous Musto/Sturrocks prizes on Sunday 22 March
Estate Master from Middle Harbour took out first place in Div one and the Tavern from the CYCA took out first in Div 2.
In the eight strong Yngling fleet, the crews included four Olympians from different classes. Neville Whitty ( Australian Soling Sydney 2000 games) crewed for Jeanne-Claude Strong and won their division.
Karen Gojnich (Bejing yngling sailor)) crewed for her daughter Amy to take out third place. Angela Farrell ( yngling Beijing Olympics) crewed for Margaret Houston.
And Jannicke Stalstrom Norwegian Sailboard Olympian for Athens and Beijing sailed with Crewed for Ruth McCance.
