The fourth annual Catalina Yachts Lake Macquarie Rendezvous will be held at the Royal Motor Yacht Club, Toronto from January 9-11, 2009. For owners and guests of Catalina Yachts.



The schedule is as follows:

Gather at Royal Motor Yacht Club, Toronto on Friday, January 9
(Marina pens and moorings can be arranged)

Fun (non-spinnaker) race/sail past around the cans on Saturday afternoon (January 10)
Informal get-together at Royal Motor Yacht Club Toronto Friday night, and prize presentation/dinner Saturday night, at the 'Toronto Bay Bistro' restaurant on site at the club. There will be some great trophies donated by Club Marine, Yanmar Diesels , RMYC Toronto and assorted sponsors with some lucky door prizes.

Leisurely cruise down the Lake on Sunday (January 11) and raft up at Styles Point for those who wish to come along. An overnight extension of this raft up is being planned by some and should be fun.

The scheduled Practice Day failed to fire at SailGP Portsmouth, after the forecast, admittedly light, breeze failed to male an appearance.
