AIMEX hosts export seminar

A successful ‘Incentives for Exporting for the Marine Industry ‘event was held during the NSW Small Business September month.
The event was a joint co-operation between AIMEX and NSW State and Regional Development.
CEO AIMEX Maryanne Edwards gave an overview of support for exporters followed by insights from successful exporter Alan Steber of Stebercraft.
Kym Hewett, Senior trade Commissioner Dubai, Austrade spoke of opportunities in Dubai and the Dubai Boat Show 2009.
NSW State Government is supporting NSW export ready companies who wish to attend Dubai Boat Show during March 2009 in partnership with AIMEX.
Further incentives relating to Austrade’s Export Market Development Grant and export documentation requirements were presented. AIMEX member Bob Ronai from Import-Export services gave an excellent presentation on they key documentation requirements for exporters.
The NSW State and Regional Development’s program of international trade missions and exhibition offers export-ready NSW clients and effective way to identify new international business opportunities and to acquire knowledge and connections critical to success.
AIMEX CEO MaryAnne Edwards said AIMEX has been working closely with the NSW government to increase their support for the marine industry. Ms Edwards was excited to announce that AIMEX will receive funding from the NSW government for NSW businesses who are interested at exhibiting at the Dubai International Boat Show in March 2009.
