BIA Vic honours Streaker Boats

by Bob Wonders on 25 Jul 2008 Boating industry stalwarts and leading marine retailers, Leon and Paul Savage, who jointly head Streaker Boats, have seen their company named 2008 Retailer of the Year by the Boating Industry Association of Victoria.

The award, presented at the I C Frith Marine Industry breakfast during the recent Melbourne Boat Show, was presented to Streaker Boats for outstanding achievements in the realm of retail marine products and service.

'We’re delighted to receive the award from the BIA,' co-director Leon Savage said.

'We endeavour to maintain a close relationship with our customers and we believe this has been a key to our success at the retail level.

'Customer feedback has shaped the direction of many of our boat models and we believe that premium customer service is what sets us apart. We view this award as real encouragement for us,' he added.

In addition to its BIA Victoria award, Streaker Boats also became the first Victorian dealership to be awarded ‘Platinum’ status by Yamaha Motor Australia..
