It’s been a busy year for the Stacer division of Telwater, with an extensive range of new models launched including the latest, a line-up of Barra Pro models designed specifically for the tournament competitor.
According to national sales and marketing manager, Damien Duncan, the Barra Pro range represents “a first” for the company, designed to compete head on with the best aluminium and fibreglass tournament boats available.
“Stacer has not previously had a range of boats to compete in this particular market and given recent strong sales achieved by our competitors we believe we can now offer a range that exceeds customer expectations,” he explained.
“The Barra Pro range offers a unique tournament-style transom with more usable space and storage and when combined with the stability and tracking characteristics of our SF Sports hull, the range sets a new standard for aluminium tournament boats,” he added.
Duncan rated as “stand out” features of the Barra Pro range as being a tournament standard, 75-litre live bait tank, a 120-litre kill tank, a revolutionary purpose-built side console, complete with four rod holders, a bright anodise grab rail, sport steering wheel and classic ’08 grey and cream interior colour schemes.
The Barr Pro range, comprising the 459, 489 and 519 models, employ the hull of the SF Sports, which combines the spray deflecting design of the Evo Series II hull with a concave, high-performance bottom sheet.
All are built on 3mm bottoms and 2.5mm hull sides, while the largest, the Barra Pro 519 can be optioned to 4mm to enable it to employ a maximum 115hp outboard.
Horsepower ratings are from 60hp for the Barra Pro 459, 75hp for the 489 and 100hp for the 519 in standard form.
All are offered in Stacer ‘Ready 2 Go’ packages comprising boat, motor trailer and a three-year limited factory backed warranty.
