Alacrity wins Commodore's Cup for second year

Alacrity, Club Marine Commodore’s Cup winner in 2007 and 2008 SW
Alacrity skippered by Matthew Percy has won the 3rd annual Club Marine Commodore's Cup for the second year running, making this the third year a Beneteau 44.7 has won this event.
More than twenty yachts competed at the Southport Yacht Club over this past weekend enjoying fine conditions with the breezes and competitiveness building throughout the regatta.
Competition was high especially amongst the PHS Division with only three yachts jostling for first place.
Alacrity, Whisper Four skippered by John Hall and Fourlove skippered by Sean Allardice made up the PHS Division winning first, second and third respectively.
Paul Laurence skipper of Grateful won in the Cruising Division, David Rose skipper of Fair Bump Play On won the Etchells Division with Peter Lahey skipper of Still Crazy cleaning up the Trailable Yachts Division.
