If you have not heard of the Dartmouth regatta you have been missing out! This is one of the nicest regattas in the UK set against the backdrop of the River Dart in Devon. It has been one of the best kept secrets in the UK regatta season so join Global Yacht Racing to discover all it has to offer this August.

Global Yacht Racing is a UK based yacht racing organisation that offers worldwide racing for everyone. Training is included in the packages and all yacht costs such as food, fuel , marina fees and race entry. Call us on +44(0)1983 299 736 to get on the crew.

The regatta hosts a number of events from competitive sailing to rowing and aerial displays, military retreats and tattoos and a procession lead by the band of Her Majesty’ Royal Marines. The Dartmouth Regatta is well established and attracts over 150,000 people every year making it a very lively event. This weekend regatta starts on the 28th of August and finishes 31st so if you are a bit pushed for holiday entitlement and can’t manage Cowes Week then this one is for you.

For the Dartmouth Regatta, Global Yacht Racing will campaign an exciting new yacht, a IRC 42 and will be racing in IRC class zero. Included in the crew fees are two days of race training and practice based from Dartmouth along with a race skipper, accommodation on board, training and race food whilst afloat and team kit. You can also join the yacht for the delivery trip from the Isle of Wight to Dartmouth and return as part of the package.
