FD Future fleet at the 17th China Cup International Regatta

The 17th China Cup International Regatta kicked off on the 12th of December over four competition days till the 16th of December 2025. The regatta featured the round Hong Kong Island race, the Hong Kong-to-Shenzhen race, and the inshore races in Daya Bay with over 300 sailing boats participated in racing.
Next to the adult sailing scene, there are nearly 150 boats participated China Cup Youth Regatta with various class such as FD Future, OP, Topper, C420 and FE23. FD Future Class joined the China Cup Youth Regatta for the first time as double handed boat with youth sailors from Hongkong Voyages Sailing Club, Guangzhou Yunfan Sailing Club and Yunnan Yunhu Sailing Club. The youth sailors from Yunnan Yunhu Sailing Club have been sailing and racing on FD Future boats for nearly 2 years. With 30 FD Future boats in the Yunnan province, Mr. Deng from Yunnan Yuxi Sailing Association is organizing 5-6 youth regattas each year. The youth sailors from Hongkong Voyages Sailing Club has participated three times FD Future regattas in Shenzhen and Xiamen. They are a big fan of FD Future boat, they started sailing on FD future since early this year and now they can sail with 3 saills, the spinnaker, jib and mainsail with a lot of joy and fun!
Ms. Wendy Zhang, the Founder from Guangzhou Yunfan Sailing Club brought over 3 youth sailing teams to join the FD Future Class, she commented:" it is very important to introduce new sailing boats to the youth, to learn sailing with fun in a progressive manner which will strengthen the sailing program and retain more youth in the sailing sport."
Mr. Xinqiang Deng from Yunnan Yuxi Sailing Association commented:"we are very excited with the launch of FD Future One Design Class, we are committed to build the class together with the sailing community in China and Asia to introduce this versatile and multifunctional FD Future boats to the youth in the region."
Mr. Yong Zhong, Founder of China Cup commented:" it is great to have FD Future boats joined the China Cup Youth Regatta this year!
