Escape to Whitsundays with Sunsail - get 15% off

by Infront Communications on 11 Apr 2008
Perfect one day 15% off the next to have more perfection! Sunsail www.sunsail.com.au
For those people who have dreamt about sailing the Whitsunday Islands there has never been a better time to escape to the tropical aquatic playground off the coast of North Queensland and Sunsail is offering a 15% discount.

Sunsail Yacht Charters, based on Hamilton Island in the beautiful Whitsundays, has a fleet of 40 high-specification yachts, including mono-hulls and catamarans, with every conceivable luxury incorporated into their design.

And to make sure their fleet is fully utilised in May and June, the world's leading sailing holiday company is offering a 15% discount off all new holiday bookings.

'We decided to take 15% off the normal price during May and June to encourage people to experience the wonderful sailing, the safe and protected anchorages, the beautiful scenery, amazing snorkelling and fantastic weather that the Whitsundays offer!' said Sunsail's marketing manager Kim Lehmann.

People who sail with Sunsail Yacht Charters come back again and again, with 54% of bookings coming from people who have either sailed with Sunsail themselves or who have been recommended to sail with Sunsail by a previous guest.

All Sunsail's yachts are designed and built with not only safety and performance in mind but also comfort.

'In conjunction with the designers, we customise and upgrade the fleet to our own tailor-made specifications so that all our yachts have not only the essential standard equipment but also provide the very best in modern yachting comfort,' said Ms Lehmann.

All Sunsail yacht charters also come with a free marina berth on world-renowned Hamilton Island, so guests can take advantage of the many restaurants, bars, cafes, shops and attractions on offer.

The Whitsunday Islands are situated off the coast of North Queensland in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and are famous for their amazing island scenery, dazzling deserted beaches and spectacular fringing reefs.

Sailing in the Whitsundays is considered to be a level 1 - where 1 is the least challenging and level 3 is the most challenging - with line-of-site navigation, good winds and safe anchorages.

Average daily temperatures are a maximum 26°C in May and 23°C in June with an average of 12 hours sunshine a day.
