ICSA Results for Ferrarone Team Race Intersectional at Rhode Island March 29-30

Saturday The day started off with a westerly breeze of about 5 to 15 knots, sometimes shifting to the north west with breezes of 12 to 20 knots. This battle lasted all day, keeping the race committee on it's toes.

The collegiate N course was sailed all day long, and 54 races were completed for the day (consisting of 1 complete round robin and starting 9 races in the second). 10 protests were filed and heard, which resulted in 2 DSQs and 1 resail due to a break down.

Sunday Round robin two was completed in a range of directions from Northwest, North, Northeast, Southwest and South. Wind velocities were seen at any where from 0 to 10 knots, with the most consistent breeze coming in from the south at 8 to 10 knots.

A final four round was sailed with scores from the early round robins combining to make up the final scores. 4 protests were heard, resulting in 3 DSQs.

A special thanks to Judges Morgan Paxhia (05) (sat.), Mike Campbell (04), Kyle Wilson (05) and Jeff Kittredge (07), as well as PRO Greg Seekell (07), for all their help.
