BVI Spring Regatta and Rolex - Race More!

For Those Who Can't Get Enough- BVI Spring Regatta and the Sailing Festival, team up with the International Rolex Regatta and VI Race Week

Although the schedule remains the same, the list of prizes sailors compete for keeps increasing. For those who plan to race in the International Rolex Regatta, and the BVI Spring Regatta and Sailing Festival, there are more prizes to be won. Registration for VI Raceweek, the new event that encompasses eight days of racing, over a ten day period and spans both the US and the British Virgin Islands, is available on line through the BVI Spring Regatta registration site http://m1e.net/c?52701090-04nqBhmaILwFI%403190596-bm1aQTXY1CpW2

There are classes for both CSA (Caribbean Sailing Association) and IRC handicap yachts in this new sailing event and the winners will be determined by combining scores from the three events, the International Rolex Regatta and BVI Spring Regatta and Sailing Festival.

There are spectacular grand finale prizes. The top CSA yacht will receive a week for two compliments of the Bitter End Yacht Club, in Virgin Gorda. Two people will enjoy accommodations for seven nights/ eight days in paradise at a premier watersports resort, along with three meals daily, unlimited use of Club boats, fresh water pool, vita course, walking/ hiking trails, Monday night guest cocktail party, Sunday regatta and party, bluewater excursions, snorkeling trips, sunset sail, champagne cruises, and dinner cruises.

The top IRC yacht will collect a week's complimentary stay at the new Marriott's Frenchman's Cove, in St. Thomas. Accommodations sleep up to 8. Certificates for dinners at local restaurants are also part of the prize package.

Of course, for those whose schedule does not allow for eight days of racing, each event can stand alone. Competitors have the choice; they can compete in only one, two or all three.
