More action pictures from photographer Andrea Francolini from the first day of Skandia Geelong Week. Today, the racing will be again out of Williamstown.

Its cool, with overcast skies at the Royal Yacht Club of Victoria this morning.

This afternoon sea breezes here on Port Phillip are expected to be softer at 10-15 knots as the Audi IRC series continues.

Tomorrow, the Sail-World team will be on the water for the giant and historic Australia Day race from Williamstown to Geelong.

Thank you, Huey… Some sun, and a tad of wind means it is time to go racing... Ahead of the annual Beneteau Pittwater Regatta by Flagstaff Marine the weather had not been all that grand. So, peaks of sun migrating to distinct patches, and the occasional zephyr turning into a waft, then on to a calm breeze was fortunate.
