There were 19 boats on the start line for the 1st Asia International Sportsboats Championships, out on the 'Lamma Patch' on the south side of Hong Kong. It was bright and breezy, with enough swell to get them up and surfing. Looks like everyone enjoyed the conditions - although Longtze Premier was unlucky enough to be right next to the camera boat when the rudder snapped. 'Right place, right time' for the photographer at any rate.
Race report and results when we receive them from the organisers (but they have a pretty heavy social schedule to work through, so...)
