Grafham Water were once again hosts to the annual combined classes Ovington Inland championships. The huge fleet of 29ers, 49ers, B14s and Musto Skiffs were also joined by the International 14 and 420 classes, making for nearly 200 boats.

Saturday's racing was light but the PROs got the races in. However Sunday's forecast was accurate and no racing was held.

In the Musto Skiff class, 20 competitors took part and it was a close series with Kit Stenhouse, Dan Vincent, Daniel Henderson and Mike Palfreman sharing the race victories. In the end, Stenhouse was the more consistent and finished 3.5 points clear of Vincent with Henderson in third.

Palfreman finished in fourth and Rick Perkins fifth, P. Dixon in sixth, Alex Koukourakis seventh and Graeme Oliver eighth, with just a point between each in the very close series.
