Labour weekend is fast approaching and will be the launch weekend of the Bladerider International Foiling Moth into New Zealand.
The new boats land into the country today being Monday and the sailors will be getting them on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Friday is set up day, and an afternoon of training and fun off Takapuna, before sailing starts around a few marks on Saturday. Sunday is the drag race, RSX vs. Moth, followed by have a go if you dare…
On Sunday afternoon/evening everyone is invited to the club for a drink and a chat about the class with guest speaker Rohan Veal, the current World Champion in the International moth and short listed ISAF Sailor of the Year nominee for this year.
Monday you will see the boats going around the cans again in the Takapuna Boating Club Regatta.
Everyone is invited to Takapuna this weekend as this is a class that is not only exciting to sail but fun to watch as well (especially when people like are sailing – lots of carnage to watch)!
