David Adams' world beating yacht which won Class II in the BOC Challenge (the single-handed race around the world), sailing a distance of some 27,000 nautical miles. The 50 foot Australian designed, built and equipped yacht which was specially commissioned for this race, carried sails from Fraser's It was a decision Adams was not to regret, after he and the sails, overcame and survived four knockdowns, a broken boom and twice being swept overboard in storms in the Southern Ocean. At the finish, Adams had not only won Class II, but had set the fastest circumnavigation by an Australian single-handed sailor and smashed the BOC Class II record.
