Singapore cancelled, China ready for events

Despite all the efforts the Singapore event cannot take place in November , the local organisers have officially announced its cancellation due to the unavailability of the infrastructures in Marina Bay.
However the number of races in the 2007 programme remain the same. An extra race has been added to the Qatar programme.
The first Qatar GP is on the 24th November followed the Doha GP on 27th November : it does mean the 2007 UIM World F1 Series still features eight races.
And ....
A trio of F1 officials have returned from China after inspecting and homologating the circuits at Xi'an and Shenzhen. Lavinia Cavallero, Vice President of F1 promotion Idea Marketing, Duke Waldrop, UIM Commisioner and Australian driver Bob Trask visited both venues and report that facilities are excellent and the Chinese organisers have ensured them that huge crowds are expected at each meeting.
