DoveBid, Inc., the leading global provider of capital asset management and valuation services, announced today it is hosting an online auction for America’s Cup Management, organizers of the 32nd America’s Cup. The auction will begin at 10:00 am CET on 13 September and will end at 6:00 pm CET on 15 September.

The featured items include: Boats used by Regatta Operations, Portable and Desktop PC's, various electronic items including plasma screens, electric passenger trains, golf carts, furniture, remote control replica boats and memorabilia.

The auction gives fans worldwide the opportunity to own a piece of this historic sailing event.

Details of this event can be found at www.32acauction.com which was set up specifically for this event.

Each item sold will be delivered with a certificate stating it was part of the 32nd America’s Cup.

The purpose of the auction is to sell numerous capital assets acquired over the past four years by America’s Cup Management S.A. that will not be used during the 33rd America’s Cup, also to be held in Valencia according to the recent agreement between America’s Cup Management and Spanish Authorities.

'We are thrilled to be able to conduct this sale,' said Miguel Garcia, head of DoveBid in Spain. 'Thanks to this initiative many followers of the America’s Cup will not only have access to memorabilia but also be able to acquire products such as laptops, flat screen TV’s or office furniture in perfect working condition at very competitive prices.'
