Espresso Forte wins Hamilton's Premier Cruising

The Farr 50, Laurence Freedman's Espresso Forte, considered by many sailors to be a wolf in sheeps clothing has taken the Premier Cruising Division at the 24th annual Audi Hamilton Island Race Week.

She finished ahead of John Meadowcroft's Porsche on the water, the Marten 49 Carrera and Paul Clitheroe's Sydney 47CR Balance.

The scheduled Practice Day failed to fire at SailGP Portsmouth, after the forecast, admittedly light, breeze failed to male an appearance.
