Pinnell overall leader at POW Cup

Michael Lennon's Shifty McDuff won Race 3 for the Hunstanton Plate, sailed at the POW Championship for the International 14 class. The event is being held at the Royal Yacht Squadron, Cowes. Second was George 1st (Archie Massey), with Roborowski (Katie Nurton) third.

The overall leader of the International 14s class is Ian Pinnell's Musto, after an excellent first day and a sixth today in race 3. Andy Parington's WSI Internet is in second place with George 1st in third.

Race 3 of the Classic 14s went to James Vaughan and Seadragon, with Dick Johnson's Dip Me In Honey second and James Middleton-Stewart's Seawitch in third.

Overall, Seadragon leads from Dr Ben Rogers' Phoenix and Seawitch.

The Prince of Wales Cup is the oldest trophy in dinghy racing, originally contested at the Royal Yacht Squadron in 1927. This year’s event marks a return to Cowes for the International 14 class on the 80th anniversary of its presentation.
