Kiwis Perform in Worlds Build up Regatta

Kiwis return after coming 1,2,3,4 in the last race of the Leba Mayors cup. NZL 525 S McDowell, NZL 517 Paul Rhodes NZL 524 Matt Stechman, NZL 522 Greg Wilcox NZ OK Dinghy Assoc
The Leba Mayors Cup which is the last regatta before the start of the 2007 OK Dinghy Worlds has seen the Kiwi team take 6 of the top 8 places.
The regatta saw different conditions each day through light winds on day one to solid 18 knot sea breeze on day two, and medium 10 knot winds on day three
The worlds start on Monday morning Nick Craig from Great Britain will head in as the favourite after winning the Leba Mayors cup, there will also be strong challenges from the Danish, Swedish and German teams along with the Kiwis and Aussies. The regatta should be a great event for all involved.
