Maritimo will showcase a new Maritimo 60, a 52 Sky Lounge and a 48 featuring the new forward helm cruising bridge design at Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show on May 24 - 27.
There will also be display plans and architectural impressions of its exciting new models, the Maritimo 555 battlewagon and the Sport Yacht range scheduled for production later this year.
The Maritimo 60 has been updated with a new deck design, revamped flying bridge and an interior personifying style. The boat boasts a pair of C18 Caterpillar marine diesels each delivering 1000hp.
Maritimo’s latest 52 features the Sky Lounge flying bridge design.
'This will revolutionise flying bridge design,' said Maritimo’s marketing manager Peter Jenkins.
There’s a completely redesigned flying bridge layout – more than one metre longer than a normal bridge, it has an aft deck overhang that eliminates the need for cockpit canvas. The show boat is powered by dual Caterpillar marine diesels generating 700hp each.
Also at the show, the new Cruising Bridge design Maritimo 48 with a convenient forward helm powered by dual 660hp Cummins diesels. Such is the success of this model, the company is re-tooling and upgrading the production lines to produce a 48 every eight days to meet demand.
The company’s Bill Barry-Cotter has released plans of new battlewagons and sports yachts – starting with the Maritimo 555 designed for those hunting giant black marlin. The 555 is the first of three battlewagons – it will be followed by a smaller 500 and a powerhouse 630.
Bill Barry-Cotter’s most radical release is the Sport Yacht design. With a profile that could be credited to European designers, the Maritimo Sports Yacht is offered in 50ft (15.24m), 60ft (18.28m) and 70ft (21.33m) versions with a choice of Caterpillar, Cummins and Yanmar diesels. Unique features for the sports boat design include walk-around sided decks, electrically-operated sliding hard top and al fresco dining for up to eight. There’s a hydraulic swim platform that can be raised and lowered.
