Mascalzone Latino-Capitalia Team conquers third place in the rankings at the end of the Louis Vuitton Act 13.

Vincenzo Onorato, President of Mascalzone Latino-Capitalia Team commented about what took place on the race course in Valenica.

'We must always remember that the 'big teams' have had infinite financial resources in respect to us,' declared Onorato, 'and most of all, one more year of preparation. Today and all of this week, Mascalzone Latino-Capitalia Team have done very well, but we feel that we have reached only 70% of our potential, not more. We can and we must improve. Sure this is an enthusiastic result, but we take it with humility. Mascalzone Latino Ita 99 is a good boat, but we are still discovering her potential.'

'Vasco, Flavio and all of the guys are excellent sailors, people that I have been sailing with for many years and know very well. They are men that, undoubtably, have a strength, desire and ability to push the crew ahead. With them, I would also like to remember all those who remain ashore and form the other engine of Mascalzone Latino-Capitalia Team.'
