Seven Queensland yachts in Audi Sydney Southport

46 yachts will begin the Audi Sydney Southport Yacht Race this Saturday, departing Sydney Harbour at 1pm heading north for a Southport finish.

Seven yachts in the fleet are representing Queensland, one of whom, Alacrity skippered by Matthew Percy is representing Southport Yacht Club.

Alacrity has competed in a number of endurance offshore races, most resent being the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race where the team finished third in their division.

The 2007 Audi Sydney Southport Yacht Race replaced the Sydney Mooloolaba Yacht Race due to depth issues at Mooloolaba.
