The Collins Stewart London Boat Show has undergone a major revamp for 2007 and is bursting with new, exciting and interactive things to do and see. The ten-day event houses the largest and most varied collection of boats in the UK and attracts an interesting and exciting array of boating personalities and marine experts.

Budding boat owners can check out the latest innovations and products on the market, while boating novices can learn everything there is to know about boating, watersports and our island heritage. The Collins Stewart London Boat Show takes place from 5-14 January 2007 at ExCeL London.

Each RYA Regional Young Sailor is selected by the RYA Region from nominations put forward by clubs and individuals. There are 13 regions in total. Each RYA regional winner is then automatically put forward for the Raymarine Young Sailor of the Year Award.

The 1st team of the NEC harlequins sign rugby balls for children on the Sunsail stand. Sunsail is supporting the 'Quins Community' projects, working with local Clubs to encourage fitness as well as working closely with the team themselves.

The National Championship of Two-Boat Team Racing in Keelboats supported by BMW UK Limited was held at the Royal Victoria Docks, London E16 on Saturday and Sunday 6th and 7th January 2007.




The Engine Race, a chance to test yourself against others at competitive challenges such as changing an engine's oil filter. A hands-on experience, don some paper overalls and have a go. Experts are on hand to show the correct procedures, with useful tips and advice.

Dame Ellen MacArthur joins in with the UKSA Deck Games zone, providing parents with information and giving children the opportunity to gain the necessary skills to become the next generation of champions, with techniques, fitness and resources on hand to take them through the necessary steps for success. Alongside winch grinding, deck disciplines and other boating activities.

With over 700 exhibitors, around 1000 world-class boats and masses of related equipment, the Collins Stewart London Boat Show is a must attend event for everyone with a passion for the water.

The Show is open daily from 5-14 January 2007 from 10am until 7pm (6pm Sunday 14). Thursday 11 is late night opening until 9pm. Adult tickets start at £12.50 and this year children can come for free.

ExCeL has great transport links, it is conveniently located close to London City Airport, there is a direct dual carriageway link to the M11 and M25 and ExCeL even has its own dedicated Docklands Light Railway station – Custom House for ExCeL – providing fast, convenient access to the City (30 mins) and the West End (45 mins).
