Gul launch Code-Zero ultimate racing system

by Katie Drummond-Dunn on 19 Dec 2006
GUL Code Zero Gul International http://www.gul.com
The new high performance racing apparel being launched at the London Boat Show will be the headline range for Gul on stand N318. Code Zero is the ultimate racing system for dinghy sailors.

The most impressive garments within the range are the drytops and spraytops, constructed from the innovative new waterproof and highly breathable EVO-STRETCH fabric. The garments provide the high level of performance required by top international sailors through the four – way stretch ability of the fabric.

Having taken two years to develop, with input from members of Skandia Team GBR, the range meets the specifications of world class, competitive sailors. The highly technical garments are designed to offer minimum resistance and maximum stretch allowing sailors the utmost freedom of movement.

Code Zero also has salopettes, hi-fit trousers, smock, jacket and a soft shell jacket completes the range. All these garments have been meticulously designed for a sleeker fit, which reduces wind resistance.

The Code Zero jackets, smocks, Hi-fits and salopettes are constructed with ergonomically positioned GCX2-STRETCH fabric panels for maximum freedom of movement. The waterproof, breathable, tri-laminate Softshell jacket combines the outer and thermal layers in one fabric, giving maximum performance with minimum weight.

Alongside the Code Zero Gul will also be launching a new Hike Pants range. The unisex, 3mm hike pants are constructed with highly breathable airprene panels. Developed with the Skandia Team GBR sailors they are designed to withstand the wear and tear of racing and keep sailors comfortable, even under strenuous racing conditions.

Since its partnership with Skandia Team GBR in 2005, Gul has been working hard to develop world-class ranges and make them available to all sailing enthusiasts.

To find out more about these exciting ranges and other products that Gul Marine has to offer, visit stand N318 at the London Boat Show in January 2007.
