Acclaimed Melbourne boat manufacturer Streaker Boats has released a new Platinum Series model upgrade for select Streaker Tournament series boats.

Available exclusively on the Streaker 5.45 and 5.85 Tournament models, the Platinum Series represents a fresh approach to dedicated fishing boat designs which caters specifically to all fishing tournament enthusiasts.

The exterior of both new Platinum Series hulls is designed to stand out amid the sea of white boats at the tournament starting line, with a distinctive coloured gelcoat finish and bold custom graphics.

A glance inside the forward cabin reveals the new Platinum Series feature; a newly developed fibreglass cabin liner and moulded side pockets. While the plush carpeted cockpit floor remains, a sleek fibreglass liner now adorns the entire cabin to make the forward cabin area and storage pockets more practical for the tournament fishing environment.

Following a long weekend of blue water angling, cleaning away the scales, blood, bait and berley is now possible from the bow of the boat, to the stern. Even with marine grade carpet in the cabin, a quick wash down with the onboard deck wash is all that is needed to prepare the rig for next weekend’s offshore battle.

Angling success is also assured with the new Streaker Platinum Series boats featuring a fully plumbed live bait tank and deck wash, custom outriggers, Lowrance colour sounder and GPS and twin batteries, all as part of the Platinum package.

New to the Platinum Series is a set of stainless steel snapper racks, redesigned bait board and a completely new bowsprit featuring a Sarca anchor and quick release bollard.

Streaker Boats has achieved Platinum status as a high profile Yamaha outboard dealer. The new Platinum Series Tournament boats reflect their dedication to the Yamaha product by offering an engine upgrade to the latest 4-Stroke outboards.

The new Platinum Series 545 Tournament is now powered with the popular Yamaha F115 4-Stroke designed to broaden the travelling range with the 146 litre underfloor fuel tank. The larger Platinum Series 585 Tournament sees the exceptional Yamaha F150 powerhouse on the transom, to deliver power to weight performance only Yamaha 4-Stroke owners can appreciate.

The new Platinum Series Tournament boats from Streaker offer fishability in design and layout on proven Tournament hull formulas. Bold graphics, coloured gelcoat hulls and live bait tanks add up to compelling fishing boat packages from a manufacturer who spends more time thinking about fishing than you do.

Streaker Boats is a leading Melbourne marine retailer, being authorised dealers for Quintrex, Streaker, Larson, Yamaha outboards and Wave Runners. The company is one of the few Yamaha dealers in Australia that has been awarded the status of Platinum dealer.
