McDowell and Purdie lead latest OK Rankings

by NZ OK Association on 11 Dec 2006
Mark Perrow (Wakatere BC) is lying in 4th place on the latest rankings Jens Jensen

The 2006-2007 OK Dinghy Summer Series ranking list has now been updated after the East Coast Champs. Mark Orams was leading after Turangi by one point from Steve McDowell, he has now slipped to fifth place after not attending the East Coast Champs.

Wellington sailors Steve McDowell and Karl Purdie are first and second respectively closely followed by Aucklanders Andrew Pardington, Mark Perrow and Mark Orams. No drops have been taken into account yet, and this would likely see Purdie who did not attend the first regatta of the series in Rotorua take a small lead over the rest of the top five.

With the New Zealand Nationals still to come and counting for double points there is still the potential for most of the top ten to take the series for 2006-2007
