Friday, final day of the Lark national championship dawned with many hangovers after last nights 'Pirates of Penzance' Fancy Dress night. Light winds resulted in today's racing being cancelled after a couple of postponements and a brief trip around the committee boat.

This left Alan Krailing & Edd McArdle as very worthy 2006 Lark Class National Champions. Sarah Richards & Nigel Wakefield (2004/5 National Champions) were runners up with Nigel Hufton & Chris Whitehouse finishing in third place overall.

In the Silver Fleet, Glenn & Marion Enkel took home the honours followed by Helen Scott & Chris Robinson in second and Nick & Joanna Marlow in third.

The Bronze fleet was won by Katharine Sampson & Alison Dart, followed by Laura Mitchell & Sophie Richards and students Jon White & Alex Crottenden in third.
