'The new Nelly Bay Harbour looks fantastic, the weather is beautiful and we have a time in store on and off the water. This is the unique opportunity to be part of an inaugural race week – one which we are sure will become a very popular event on the sailing calendar. Talk to some Townsville locals at Airlie or Hamilton Island events, the crews on Zoe, Sundowner, Rising Farrst, Pro Beat Passion, The Major and Mach I and Zen, will be happy to tell you about the great racing.'
Viewing of the racing will be spectacular from vantage points on the Strand and Island and a number of spectator and sponsor vessels will follow the events.
