Laser Radial European Championships - Day 4

Laser Radial Europeans in Riccione, Italy Laser Europeans
Gintare Volungeviciute of Lithuania is tied in a three-way lead in the Women's fleet of the ISAF Grade C1 Laser Radial European Championships in Riccione, Italy. Volungeviciute added a win in the first race before blowing out with an OCS in the final race of the day, she is now tied on points with Evi Van Acker (BEL) and Penny Clark (GBR) - all on 23 points.

The other race winner of the day was Jo Aleh of New Zealand who is in fifth overall.

In the men’s fleet Steven Le Favre (NED) continues to dominate proceedings adding another win and now with a 17 point lead over Timofey Zhbankov (RUS). Rodie Van Mackelenbergh (NED) has moved into third overall ahead of countryman Steven Krol.

Briton's Ross Harvey continued to improve with an eight and fourth to be in sixth overall. Ben Paton (GBR) is in 12 place.

Finals are Thursday and Medal races Friday.
