ALL BLACKS v IRELANDon the GIANT SCREEN 1935 Main Hall
"Success in Saturday's first Test against the All Blacks in Hamilton is seen as vital to Ireland's hopes for a productive three-Test tour of New Zealand and Australia. The Irish side arrived in Auckland on Sunday to cool, wet conditions.
Coach Eddie O'Sullivan left Ireland having told the Belfast Telegraph: "Our goal is to beat them [New Zealand] and you don't do that by standing off them." www.allblacks.com

VISION YACHTING WINS LUGANO MATCH RACING - GRADE 2 - SWITZERLAND!
Finals day report from Simon Minoprio
We sailed the shifts extremely well, as hard as it was, we took a two nil victory to go straight through to the finals.
In the other match however, an extremely big upset - Antoine Morvan beating Russell Coutts 2 - 1.
With Russell now in the petit final, we had a little bit of breathing room. It was close racing in the best of five final and we won two each so it was game on, with one more race to go.
An even start, we were in a controlling position and managed to get the upper hand. We extended the whole way round the three lap course to take the win and Lugano Match Race champions for 2006.
Thank you to everyone who has responded to our email updates, a huge thanks to Ross Munro and Greg Flynn from Line 7 NZ, and The Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron for their ongoing support towards Vision Yachting.
Team Vision Yachting = Ryan Houston, Haydon Goodrick and Simon Minoprio.

Sir Peter Blake Trust Corporate Regatta - Friday 8th December 2006
The Squadron has been invited to participate in a major fundraising on the water event in association with the Sir Peter Blake Trust. You would have an opportunity to contribute to this event by making your vessel available on Friday 8th December 2006 for a Corporate pre-Christmas afternoon sail for invited guests.
The programme commences with lunch at the Squadron at 1100hrs and a briefing where you will be introduced to the sponsors of your vessel and their guests. A short inner harbour race in 3 divisions will follow concluding with an onshore cocktail party and prize giving at about 1700 hrs. You and your crew are welcome to attend these functions free of charge.
If you and your boat would be available for the day please register your interest with the Sailing Office.
Your support will enable the Squadron to make a valuable contribution to the Sir Peter Blake Trust and in doing so help us honour one of New Zealand’s finest yachtsmen.
Thank you for your support.
