Thursday is a relatively light day - with only six semi-finals scheduled, and with plenty of time allowed between events as several rowers are competing in more than one event.

These events are generally the most popular in the card for Maadi 2006, and the heats atracted fields of up to 60 crews per event.

Finals start tomorrow, Friday, with A and B Finals being run for most events.

Daysheet for Day 4 (Thursday 30 March) 2006 AON NZ Secondary Schools Regatta

All races are Semi-Finals - Repechages completed yesterday. Finals start Friday (tomorrow) and the two remaining Semi- Finals are being raced after the conclusion of the Coxes racing. So six Semi-Final events will be raced today

NB The Event Order is not consecutive to allow rowers who are competing in multiple semi-finals sufficent chance to recover between races.

Double Double
And the rest of the line is not toil and trouble, but quadruple, then another double… On the eve of the 100th Fastnet that has attracted some 464 entries, I heard of one entry in this record fleet that seemed so very apt. Not only because it includes the Commodore of the RORC, but because it combines two Brits and two Aussies.
