Racing will take place from 21-31 August, with the prizegiving and Closing Ceremony in the evening of 31 August.

The Qingdao International Regatta is being organized by the Chinese Yachting Association together with the Qingdao Municipal Government. Provisionally two boats per nation will be allowed to compete, with entry quotas for all eleven events as detailed in the Notice of Race.
