Pittwater Boat Show – who’s who of name brands

by Event media on 30 Sep 2005
The Pittwater Boat Show is living up to its aim of becoming an important boating event on the NSW marine calendar.

Organisers this week announced that several big name brands have signed up to exhibit their latest product offerings at this year’s show, including Beneteau, Bavaria, Maritimo, Riviera and Larson boats.

In an exciting move, North South Yachting will show its new Bavaria 37 cruiser, the first time that the boat has been on display at a show in Australia. Riviera will feature boats from their Flybridge Convertible and Sports Cruiser range, while Maritimo will exhibit their stunning Maritimo 60 – this year’s AMIF Boat of the Year. Marine dealer Coastline Marine will showcase their Larson series of legendary trailer and towing boats that hail all the way from Little Falls, Minnesota in the USA.

Event Director, Nik Ehnbom said this week that the Pittwater Boat Show if filling up fast, with confirmed exhibitors from all sectors of the marine and boating industry. With just 6 weeks to go until the event, the Pittwater Boat Show team are rushing to finalise bookings and allocate space in the Pavilion, open air and marina spaces.

Meanwhile, Sunsail Yacht Charters have also got behind the Pittwater Boat Show, becoming an official sponsor and giving away a Whitsunday’s yachting holiday valued at more than $3000 to one lucky person visiting their stand during the show.

The 2005 Pittwater Boat Show is an event being staged by Liquidity Sports and will be held at the Royal Motor Yacht Club, Broken Bay in Newport NSW from 11 to 13 November 2005.

Fortune favours the Beneteaus!
Thank you, Huey… Some sun, and a tad of wind means it is time to go racing... Ahead of the annual Beneteau Pittwater Regatta by Flagstaff Marine the weather had not been all that grand. So, peaks of sun migrating to distinct patches, and the occasional zephyr turning into a waft, then on to a calm breeze was fortunate.
