Oceanis – 2018 set to be a prolific year

by Beneteau on 15 Sep 2017
Fast Oceanis 35.1, 38.1 and 41.1 Beneteau .
30 years on, the best known range in the world continues to show its vitality. Alongside the new Oceanis 51.1, which won over the experts at its first sea trials, Beneteau has announced four new Oceanises to satisfy a broad range of aspirations this autumn. While the new Oceanis 55.1 rounds off the large cruiser offer with chic comfort, the small Oceanises have been given a boost with a performance version that will satisfy the expectations of sailors looking for speed and sensations.

Smart Oceanis 51.1

Designed by Berret Racoupeau Yacht Design and with an interior fitted out by Nauta Design, the new Oceanis 51.1 is the first boat of the seventh generation of Oceanises. Boasting tauter lines on a new stepped hull, she has a clear deck plan for greater safety of movement on board and is even simpler than before to sail.

The spacious cockpit, many well-positioned relaxation areas, and an aft swim platform, promise true luxurious comfort in the open-air. In the interior, the architectural choices create a generous amount of space with fittings and a level of equipment second to none on a boat this size. The large hull portholes bathe even the centre of the boat in natural light, underlining the elegance of the fittings and finishes.

Spacious, stylish and fast, this new cruiser reaches new heights of comfort on board and is much easier to sail. By multiplying customization options, with 700 different combinations, the Oceanis 51.1 is set to be a distinctive boat that anyone would treasure.

Comfortable Oceanis 55.1

In the wake of the new Oceanis 51.1 and the sumptuous Oceanis Yacht 62, the Oceanis 55 has evolved into a 55.1 version that rounds off the Beneteau offer in the stylishly elegant large cruiser segment. With a tauter profile, this new 55.1 has retractable davits on deck and an in-mast furling system combined with a self-tacking jib that will make manoeuvres considerably easier. Inspired by the Oceanis Yacht, the helm consoles, equipped with large navigation displays, favour visibility and manoeuvres under sail.

For the interior atmosphere of the cruiser there is great freedom of choice, with brushed oak woodwork that is very much on trend. The chart table and its comfortable pivoting chair, the new upholstery in the lounge area and the incredible optimisation of space in the master cabin – 160 cm wide island bed and a separate en-suite shower room – give this chic Oceanis 55.1 all the hallmarks of a luxury yacht.

Fast Oceanis 35.1, 38.1 and 41.1

Sailors who love sensations will look forward to seeing the Oceanis 35.1, 38.1 and 41.1 bestsellers enhanced with a new performance version. With masts taller by one metre, lower booms and an Elvström Windward 300+ sets of sails, the equipment and deck fittings of these cruisers will render them that bit faster and give them the edge. Attractively enhancing their lines, the hull decoration highlights this performance version and says it all: these three Oceanises are all set to be winners!
