Olivia Stratton - Nokia will be the envy of every entry today MPM Sports Marketing
Miss World Australia, Olivia Stratton, will join the long list of celebrities who have taken part in the Canon Big Boat Challenge over the years.

An active member in communities both locally and overseas, Olivia can now add to her long list of achievements, racing an ocean thoroughbred in this year’s regatta when she joins the crew of the Volvo 60 Nokia on Friday.

Olivia has recently returned from a three month around the world trip for her Year of Service as Miss World Australia. Olivia was chosen from over 500 girls nationally to represent Australia at the Miss World competition, held in China for 4 weeks last December.

Despite only 11 days to prepare for the largest international pageant in the world and not receiving any of the promised support or prizes valued at $250,000, Olivia wowed the two billion viewers watching the Miss World television program in over 120 countries - winning for her country the Miss World People's Choice.

Olivia has been very busy over the past 12 months, assisting numerous charities and community groups - so much so that she was chosen as the 2004 Children's Charity Ambassador for Variety.

Her work has included television and modeling work in Australia as well as overseas, which Olivia will continue with now that her reign as Miss World Australia has finished.

Also joining the crew on Friday will be a number of Nokia Executives who will get the chance to experience the thrill of the race and also see first hand how their yacht has been transformed over the past months.
