The Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron has become the new home of the America's Cup - the first club in the 166 year history of the premier trophy in sailing to regain the Auld Mug.
The America's Cup is now ensconced in a specially constructed secure cabinet, visible from the ground and first floors of the club which can trace its beginnings back to 1851. That was the same year that the schooner America's defeated the assembled fleet at Cowes, Isle of Wight and won the Royal Yacht Squadron (RYS) £100 Cup, since gifted by the owners of the winning yacht, America, as a 'perpetual Challenge Cup for friendly competition between foreign countries'.
Accompanying the America's Cup are the two Louis Vuitton trophies - one awarded to the winner of the 2013 Challenger Selection Series and the second to the winner of the 2017 CSS.
Top sailing photographer, Carlo Borlenghi captured these images as the Auld Mug settled back into familiar surroundings.
