Since its inception in 2000, Future Fibres' TorqueLite furling cables have helped change the way that yachts are sailed in the modern era.

Using the continuous winding process originally developed for America’s Cup and Open 60 campaigns, TorqueLite unique torque transfer enabled yachts to handle their large reaching sails much more easily and began to push towards larger and faster sails.

In 2016, Future Fibres will break ground again with the launch of TorqueLite 2.0.

It is a completely re-engineered furling cable that provides massive gains in weight, torque transfer and ease of handling. It will revolutionize the world of reaching sails.

The upgraded TorqueLite 2.0 cable will be officially released at a special presentation at METS on 16th of November at the Southern Spars/Future Fibres booth (01.112). If you are at METS drop by the Southern Spars/Future Fibres stand
