MUSTO introduces new range of industry leading UV Apparel for Ss16

by Musto Australia on 28 Oct 2016
Evolution Performance UV Trousers Musto Australasia www.musto.com
As the world’s leading offshore sailing brand, MUSTO is renowned for developing garments to combat sub-zero temperatures, perilous waves and bitter force 10 winds, but this summer welcomes the launch of the brands Sunblock Collection, designed to combat heat and harmful UV rays. Crafted using highly technical fabrics, the Sunblock Collection offers up to UPF50 protection, exactly where it's needed.

Designed by the same team behind the HPX range, MUSTO offers a variety of garments for the upper body, including the Evolution Sunblock Long Sleeve T-Shirt, Evolution Sunblock T-Shirt, Evolution Sunblock Long Sleeve Polo and the Evolution Sunblock Polo. Constructed of a complex cotton and polyester blend with UPF40, the materials are so tightly woven that UV rays cannot penetrate to the skin, they are also fast drying, high wicking (to quickly remove perspiration or water) ensuring maximum comfort whilst out on the ocean.

Despite the fabric composition, MUSTO Sunblock T-shirts and Polo's offer the same lightweight and breathable qualities as their standard, cotton counterparts. Reglan sleeves provide added freedom of movement, whilst flat lock, twin needle stitched seams ensure the garment remains comfortable, and easy to wear over long periods of time. The MUSTO Sunblock T-shirts and Polo's are available in a variety of colours to suit all tastes, including Sulphur Spring, True Navy, Fire Orange and the understated, but stylish Carbon.

The Evolution Performance UV Shorts and Trousers have been also been engineered to protect from the sun and outshine the expectations of the avid sailor. MUSTO has used a 96% Nylon and 4% Elastane stretch fabric, which is fast drying, lightweight, breathable and offers protection at UPF50, whilst providing added freedom of movement.

Additional features include Schoeller®-Keprotec® reinforced panels on the knee's of the trousers, which are available in both Light and Regular Stone options, and cargo pockets with a concealed D-Ring on the shorts, which are available in True Navy, Light Stone and Black.

Now available at MUSTO.
