Running continuously for 21 years the 2016 LCMR promises exciting multihull yacht racing in both the Racing Division (Extra sails plus OMR for those boats measured) and the so-called Cruising Division (working sails only).
With good winds looking likely and around 25 boats entered there should be some great racing, spectacular spray filled rides and enjoyable off water socialising.
There will be lots of interesting boats from large fast cruising catamarans such as Crowther designed Two Up Together and Coconut Airlines and Schionning G14 Bulletproof, an array of speedy trimarans and cruising cats, right down to two new sporty Corsair Pulses.
Friday's Cat 4 ocean race kicks off the long weekend regatta. Saturday and Sunday have two inshore races each followed by the Presentation Prize giving dinner in the prestigious dining room.
Entries are still being welcomed. Berthing arrangements can be made at the club. Topyacht entry on RMYC Multihull website.
