TP52 Fox (Victor Wild) - Rolex Big Boat Series 2016 - San Francisco Rolex/Daniel Forster/Rolex Big Boat Series http//:www.rolexbigboatseries.com
Tom Ehman caught up with St Francis Yacht Club member Manouch Moshayedi (Newport Beach) Saturday afternoon while watching the new PAC 52 Fox, owned by Victor Wild (San Diego Yacht Club), fly up and down the Bay along with the other 126 yachts (a record) competing in the Rolex Big Boat Series.

Manouch revealed plans for next year's PAC 52 Class, which will be discussed by the Founding Four owners at a meeting at St Francis YC Sunday evening. The PAC 52 is a hull of a TP52 with a 60cm taller mast and lighter engine - for a reduced total weight of 100kgs.

Three new boats (two on the Cookson yard in New Zealand) are in build in addition to the new (this year) Fox, with one or two additional existing boats expected to join next year for a fleet of four or maybe five 52fters and plans to integrate the racing for the two 52ft classes.
