2016 Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race - Overnight, the fleet have been making slow progress towards Gladstone. In general, most have stayed on the lay line or close to it. The exception is Quest who have taken a more Northern route looking for extra breeze.
Just three boats have retired at this point, the most recent being Flying Colours II who pulled the pin around 10pm on Saturday night.
The forecast for today, Sunday, if for building breeze from behind the yachts which should compact up the fleet and make the chase for the silverware hard to call.
Kerumba is due to finish around 8am this morning, around 16 hours after Black Jack. After that, Race Control is expecting a steady stream throughout the day and into Sunday night.
